2004 – San Miguel de Allende, Mexico – A very beautiful colonial city in central Mexico. My mom and I went for a week and loved exploring and walking and eating really great Mexican food. Above is the cover of my journal.
This is little watercolor of a traditional dress that was hanging as an art piece in the bedroom of Casa Luna Pila Seca where we stayed. Lovely in it's deep, rich purple hand woven fabric. Have a great Friday!
happy Friday to you!
Okay, your colors always pop. That watercolor is great, too.
I would love to see MORE of San Miguel…as I still have not visited there.
Your little water color is so very lovely Fran!
My heart longs for Mexico. Between your journal and Mary Ann’s vacation in Mérida, it makes me want to plan another trip. Thanks for sharing.
Both your post and the colors in your journal warmed my heart, and believe me, it needed warming this 18 degree morning. I loved reading about your trip with your mom, especially the part about the really good Mexican food. What is it about cold weather that makes me so hungry? Please keep journaling and sending rays of sunshine and creativity my way!
