Baby, it's really cold outside. I mean, as my husband would say, "butt freezing". We've had a little arctic air enfold us in it's frigid vice grip and it's insanely cold.
A very short walk out in the "garden" – it's more like a scene from Dr. Zhivago today – revealed some surprising color…
…my garden goddess gathering a snowy mane upon her lovely countenance…..
…a pop of crimson a fiery contrast to the glacial white….
…and the milweed pod's vessel is a nice catch for the season's powdery silence.
Meanwhile….back inside the warm confines of my studio my fingers have been diligently applying thread and beads to this lovely fiber vessel for a friend's sister for Christmas.
Stay warm, curl up. Breath. Make tea. Repeat.
Fran…beautiful photos, Katy’s goddess look snug in the snow. I photographed milkpods yesterday too and posted…
This cold makes everything so crisp and clear…stay warm!

That first shot is simply stunning
Oh…COOL!
I LOVE the new pod case.
Great colors and a good vibe. I’m vowing to stay indoors too. It’s the kinda cold where your breath freezes in your throat.
Staggering about in the twilight, feeling for my hot cocoa….
Your Garden Goddess image is really wonderful.
